Deadpool has only just come out but a sequel has already been greenlit.
Film studio Fox has reportedly given the go-ahead for a follow-up to the Marvel superhero film even though it only came out today in cinemas.
Insiders told The Hollywood Reporter that Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the first film, have been brought back to work on the sequel after overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics.
Director Tim Miller and lead actor Ryan Reynolds have yet to sign on but are expected to in the coming weeks.
