If you’re worried about not getting a card this Valentine’s Day then don’t.
The world is going to end.
That is according to Ghostbusters II in which an alien told poor Elaine that the Earth would cease to exist on February 14th, 2016.
For those who can’t quite remember the scene it occurs towards the beginning of the film where Bill Murray’s Peter Venkman is now presenting World Of The Psychic.
His first guest reckons the world would end on New Year’s Eve of that year (1989) but Elaine has another date in mind.
‘According to my source, the end of the world will be on February 14th in the year of 2016,’ she tells Peter.
‘Valentine’s Day… bummer,’ he responds.
