Jack Black plays RL Stine, the man behind the Goosebumps books we all know and love, in a film version based on Stine’s work.
With slicked back hair, glasses and a stern tone, it’s a little different from goofy roles we know Black best for.
He spends the film running away from the various creatures created in Stine’s imagination, such as murderous garden gnomes, a giant praying mantis and the undead.
