Bob plays the titular character, Dick Kelly, who emotionally blackmails his grandson Jason (Zac Efron) after his wife’s death, to drive him down to Florida.
Straight-laced Jason thinks they’re going to grandpa’s summer home, but Dick’s got Spring Break at Daytona Beach in mind. That, and getting into Aubrey Plaza’s Shadia’s pants.
Cue 1hour 42mins of drug and drink-fuelled decadence and dick jokes and it’s not surprising people have questioned this career move for De Niro.
