Charlotte Rampling has been forced to clarify her comments about the Oscars diversity debate.
The actress, who is nominated this year for Best Actress for her role in 45 Years, said that the argument against the all-white nominees was ‘racist to white people’ during an interview with a French radio station.
After her comments received heavy backlash, including from Chelsea Clinton, Charlotte released a statement claiming her words were misinterpreted.
