Star Wars Episode 8 will be out later than planned.
Disney have announced that the next film, to be directed by Rian Johnson, won’t be out until December 15, 2017. It was originally slated for release in the summer of the same year.
In a post on the Star Wars website, the studio said the move was in a bid to mirror the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which came out on December 18 last year.
