Christian Bale learnt how to play the drums in two weeks for his role in The Big Short.
Bale plays hedge fund manager Michael Burry in The Big Short, and one scene sees his character drum along to blaring death metal.
The actor actually took up a ‘wonderful crash course’ in the drums for the scene, and revealed the song he plays to – By Demons Be Driven by Pantera – is a ‘fantastic song to begin with’.
