Emma Thompson has revealed that she ‘kissed’ Alan Rickman goodbye in a touching final tribute to her friend.
Emma and Alan were co-stars for several films and Alan directed Emma in 1997’s The Winter Guest, but for many audiences they will be best remembered for their on-screen relationship in Love Actually.
‘Alan was my friend and so this is hard to write because I have just kissed him goodbye,’ wrote Emma on Thursday, hours after his passing was announced.
