Noma Domezweni, the black actress cast to pay Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter play, has given the best response to critics of her casting.
When Noma’s casting was announced in December, fans of the Harry Potter franchise had criticised the decision to cast a black actress in the role make famous by Emma Watson, who is white.
But now Noma, 45, has given the best response to the naysayers, describing them as ‘ignorant’ and ‘lacking imagination’.
