Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still racking it in at the box office big time.
The sci-fi blockbuster is now on its way to topple Avatar’s domestic record in the US as the highest grossing film ever.
Deadline predicts that by the end of Sunday it will have taken $745 million in total which means it could surpass Avatar’s $760.5 million record by Monday.
Avatar was on release for 34 weeks while it took The Force Awakens just 18 days to achieve this feat.
