Screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan isn’t writing the script to Star Wars Episode 8 but he has seen it and he’s promised that things are going to get ‘weird’.
When it comes to Star Wars, Kasdan knows what he’s talking about.
He wrote the scripts for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, before teaming up with Abrams on Episode 7, The Force Awakens.
Speaking to The LA Times, he said: ‘These movies will all be so different. [Episode 8 director] Rian Johnson is a friend of mine — he’s going to make some weird thing.
