Mr Bingley from Colin Firth’s Pride And Prejudice is a secondary school teacher now

The BBC’s dramatisation of Jane Austen’s Pride And Prejudice is arguably the best there’s ever been.

Not only did it give us Colin Firth’s Mr. Darcy, and that soaking wet shirt, but also the sweetness of Crispin Bonham Carter’s Mr. Bingley.

But it turns out, Crispin – who is Helena Bonham Carter’s third cousin – turned his back on acting nearly a decade ago, and now can be found teaching at a North London secondary school.

The former actor teaches English and classics at Muswell Hill’s Alexandra Park School, where’s he’s worked for the last eight years, and apparently his kids have no idea that he once stole Jane Bennet’s heart.
