A Disney action figure set for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been criticised by fans for not including any female characters.
Spotted in a store by New York Times bestselling author, Jamie Ford, the six-item set includes Finn, Chewbacca, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren, a stormtrooper and a TIE fighter pilot – all male characters.
That’s right, the consumer product team at Disney decided to put in two nameless action figures instead of Rey, very much the main character of the movie, or even Gwendoline Christie’s character Captain Phasma.
