In his new film The Revenant, Tom Hardy plays a frontiersman in the Dakotas, exploring the new American West with his men on horseback.
But it turns out, the one thing Tom didn’t count on when joining Leonardo DiCaprio for the film was the fact that he’d have to, you know, actually ride a horse.
And the British actor is not a fan of the four-legged creatures.
‘I don’t like horses,’ Tom has now revealed in a new interview with trade magazine Variety. ‘They scare me.’
‘There’s not a call for it in London — not since the 1800s,’ he added before joking that Londoners are now ‘used to getting on the bus or the tube’.
