There’s a new man on the moon to think about right now, and that man is Ryan Gosling.
The Canadian actor is apparently being lined up to play Neil Armstrong in Damien Chazelle’s First Man, centred on Neil Armstrong, the first person to stand on the moon.
Damien, who won critical acclaim for the Oscar-nominated Whiplash, is expected to direct the biopic based on the James Hansen’s book First Man: The Life Of Neil A. Armstrong.
Spotlight co-writer Josh Singer is adapting the book, which will include the astronaut’s time as a Navy bomber flyer and test pilot before he joined NASA in the Sixties.
