Looks like the Tories are using May the Fourth to get a little positive publicity ahead of the General Election this Thursday.
Conservative George Osborne, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, tweeted today on Star Wars day that the eighth installment of the sci-fi franchise will be filmed once again at Pinewood Studios.
‘Pleased to announce #StarWarsVIII will be filmed here in UK @PinewoodStudios – great news for @starwars fans & our UK creative industries,’ George tweeted on Monday.
Pinewood is located just outside of London and has already enjoyed hosting the productions of James Bond’s latest outing in Spectre as well as Spooks: The Greater Good, starring Kit Harington, which is out in cinemas this Friday.
