Home Alone is arguably one of the funniest, and scariest, Christmas movies ever.
Telling the story of a young boy left at home over the festive season, it sees two criminals get pretty beaten up by Macaulay Culkin’s Kevin thanks to his booby traps and home defenses.
As it’s a PG-rated film, Marv (Joe Pesci) and Harry (Daniel Stern) were hardly going to succumb to their injuries because you know, that wouldn’t be funny at all.
But now some doctors and nurses have diagnosed exactly what type of injuries they would have suffered after falling down icy stairs, getting a blow torch to the head or a tin of paint right in the face.
And clearly, the Sticky Bandits would have met a sticky end if this was real life.
