Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is on target to be a budget buster of a film.
The Warner Bros. movie has been burning through its budget at a rate of knots having already hit the $410million mark. It’s said to be entirely possible it will bust the $1billion mark (£650million) on completion.
That would make it the most expensive movie made ever.
The title is currently held by Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides which had nearly $400million spent on it. Disney’s Tangled is the fifth most costly, having had $260million spent on it.
Batman V Superman is said to be expensive because of the big name cast members, the huge sets, and the ‘extended production schedule’, Latino-Review claims.
