Last year’s surprise horror film hit,Oujia, is set to get a sequel.
Film makers Universal have confirmed plans to release Ouija 2 with a release date of October 21, 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Writing team Mike Flanagan and Jeff Howard – who penned the 2013 horror movie Oculus – are attached to pen the screenplay with Michael Bay and Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum among the producers.
The first film – which starred Olivia Cooke – told the story of a group of friends attempting to make contact with a recently deceased classmate through a Ouija board who before her death, awoke a dark and terrifying presence.
