We don’t care how composed you are usually, nothing brings out your inner coward like a truly shocking movie moment.
Empire Cinemas recently polled customers on the subject and almost one fifth (17%) admitted that the most scared they’ve ever felt in their lives was when watching a film in the cinema.
Meanwhile 11% said they’d developed a phobia or fear after seeing a movie.
