It’s been 11 years since Renee Zellweger last played Bridget Jones so it’s no wonder the Texan has forgotten exactly how to speak with an English accent.
Because according to a film insider, Renee can’t quite recall how she did it in the first place.
Speaking to The Mirror, the source said: ‘Bridget’s distinctive accent was a big aspect of the character’s on-screen persona, so it’s essential it’s spot on – fans of the movies remember it very clearly.’
