Cary Fukunaga wants to make a James Bond film – but only if Idris Elba plays 007.
The director cast Idris as a violent warlord in his new film Beasts Of No Nation, a brutal and hard-hitting drama about a child solider (Abraham Attah).
We asked Cary if he’d be up for taking over from Spectre’s Sam Mendes one day and he replied: ‘That would be pretty cool to have Idris and I do a Bond film together. I wouldn’t say no to that. Maybe find a role for Abraham in there too.’
