Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will be shot in the mysterious and magical city of Liverpool.
It is the film’s only non-studio shooting location and will double for 1920s New York.
Clearly the Big Apple itself did not cut it. There must be more dragons in Merseyside.
A large area of St George’s Plateau, plus the Three Graces and Mersey waterfront, have already been cordoned off in preparation for the 530 cast and crew.

The film will star Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell and Samantha Morton and the screenplay was penned by J.K. Rowling herself.
