She was arguably the best thing about Mad Max: Fury Road, but it looks like Charlize Theron may not be back for the next installment.
Director George Miller says the Oscar-winner’s hugely popular character Imperator Furiosa only has a tiny role in the two planned follow-up films and he doesn’t know whether Charlize will return.
‘I’m not sure, is the answer,’ he said when questioned about the actress’ involvement.
‘She’s not in the Mad Max [sequel] story, but in one of the stories there’s an interaction between [Max and Furiosa].
