In fact, one cinema goer has since decided to step in and help bring him home.
A Gofundme account called Rescue Matt Damon from Mars has been set up with a target of $99 million and it’s actually receiving donations.
‘One of the greatest actors in Hollywood is currently trapped on Mars after a failed exploration,’ reads the page.
