Domestic violence protestors crash the red carpet at the Suffragette premiere in London

Protestors attended the premiere of Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep’s new film Suffragette at the London Film Festival.

The BBC reports that the group, called Sisters Uncut, are ‘angry at cuts to domestic violence services’.

Member Janelle Brown said: ‘We believe that all women facing domestic violence should be able to access support and safety.’
