The release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be closely followed by the beginning of construction of Disney Resort’s Star Wars themed-worlds.
According to the brand’s COO, Tom Staggs, both the California and Florida theme parks will start to build these lands next year.
When construction will be complete is still unknown, but once it’s opened to the public, guests will be able to visit the Cantina from Episode IV: A New Hope as well as fly in Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon.
Speaking of Pandora, the rainforest world of James Cameron’s Avatar, Staggs explained a little bit about what can be expected from the new land currently being built in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida.
