Anti-euthanasia activists Not Dead Yet branded the romance, an adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ best-selling novel, a ‘disability snuff movie’.
Marvel recently announced that they are making a massive change to one of their most popular superheroes.
In the newly released comic Captain America: Steve Rogers #1, it will be revealed that Cap has been secretly a Hydra agent all this time.
That would be Hydra, the terrorist organisation from the comics who promote hate speech and have ties to the Nazis.
This wasn’t something Marvel came up with overnight, as executive editor Tom Brevoort told Time magazine that this has been in the works since 2014.
Disney is reportedly considering a live action remake of The Little Mermaid.
The classic 1989 animation could be given a reboot following on from the success of Maleficent, Cinderella and The Jungle Book.
According to Deadline, nothing is being officially developed yet but Disney bosses are considering whether to green light an idea for the film.

Dame Barbara Windsor has finally given the green light to have a TV movie made about her life.
The 90-minute BBC biopic, which is simply called Babs, has been floated about for years and it wasn’t until two years ago when former EastEnders writer Tony Jordan approached her that she really took note.
And it seems now she has bid farewell to her iconic EastEnders character Peggy Mitchell, she’s ready to see a biopic of her life hit the small-screen.

Star Wars nuts have been given a wonderful nostalgic gift with the rediscovery of this excellent, basic teaser trailer from a film called ‘Revenge Of The Jedi’.
Naturally this eventually became Return Of The Jedi – presumably because ‘revenge’ is not the course of the Jedi, as Yoda himself states in The Empire Strikes Back.
The long-forgotten teaser, recently dug out by The Academy of Motion Picture Art and Science, isn’t exactly eye-popping – using just an old fashioned text flying effect, coupled with dramatic music.
But what follows is further from the kind of trailers we’re used to know than you could possibly imagine.
With the release of Love & Friendship in cinemas – a hilarious adaptation of Jane Austen’s Lady Susan – it’s a good time to take a look at all the Austen adaptations to have hit our TV and cinema screens.

Groundhog Day actress Angela Paton has died at the age of 86.
Her nephew, George Woolf, confirmed that the actress died on Thursday in Oakland, California, where she had been in care after suffering a heart attack.
Paton was first established as a stage actress in California, but found fame for her role as Mrs Lancaster in Groundhog Day – the elderly innkeeper who takes in weatherman Phil Connors, played by Bill Murray as he lives the same day over, and over again.
An on-set image released from Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel has revealed the film’s main protagonist, Daniels.
Filming is currently underway on Alien: Covenant in New Zealand, so 20th Century Fox have put out a new image teasing Katherine Waterston’s character, who is supposedly the film’s leading lady.

Rebel Wilson has said that she draws the line at nudity when it comes to film roles – and resisted pressure from Sacha Baron Cohen to strip off when they filmed Grimsby.
Wilson starred as the wife of Baron-Cohen’s football hooligan, Nobby, in the film – which was released earlier this year.
But even when Baron Cohen seemingly pressured her into baring all, she resiliently stuck to her guns.
‘They wanted full-frontal nudity. We write in the contract, specifically, “No nudity”,’ she said.
Look, we won’t rest until every technology seen in Star Wars is a real, usable thing.
Be it lightsabers, be it full-size AT-AT’s that we can take out for a spin, we want it all.
But until that glorious day, we’ll have to make do with the nearest homages – all of which are equally awesome.
The latest in that long lineage is a special vinyl edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which comes complete with an impressive 3D hologram etched into its centre – with an X Wing fighter featured on one side, and a TIE fighter on the other.

The new Beauty And The Beast teaser trailer collides with the original 1991 movie in this clever fan-made mash-up.
YouTube wizard BMoneyRulz used the new trailer’s soundtrack but split the screen – matching the trailer with similar clips from the original animated film.
It would seem the new movie is sticking pretty firmly to the aesthetics and architecture of the first film, though it’s hard to see what Emma Watson is wearing when she appears at the end of the new promo.

Tom Hiddleston is reportedly now in serious discussions to take over the role of James Bond, according to a source close to the actor.
While Daniel Craig is still yet to officially confirm whether he’s left the role behind, reportedly turning down £68m and saying he’d rather ‘slash my wrists’ than star as 007 again, it now sounds like the studio is preparing to recast the role for the follow-up to Spectre.

Director Sam Mendes recently made some comments that have cast doubt over the snowballing rumour that Tom is the next 007.
The Avengers star has been very coy about the role so far, and the latest reports claim he is in ‘advanced talks’ to take over from Daniel Craig.
But Mendes, who directed Craig in Skyfall and Spectre, has said to expect the unexpected.
The Guardian reports him saying at the Hay festival: ‘I can guarantee that whatever happens with it, it will not be what you expect. That’s what she [producer Barbara Broccoli] has been brilliant at, and that’s how it’ll survive.’
