A new interactive VR trailer for upcoming horror sequel The Conjuring 2 has been released and it’s absolutely terrifying.

Many have already pegged 2016 as the year of virtual reality, with the release of headsets like HTC’s Vive and Sony’s Playstation VR, but a new trailer for James Wan’s The Conjuring 2 is showcasing how the technology can be used to improve teasers for upcoming movies.

In the trailer, which is best used with a VR headset but can still deliver shocks without, you’re given a brief introduction by director James Wan, before you’re plonked in a variety of rooms around a house and given the ability to look around from a static camera viewpoint.

Oscar Isaac and X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer have addressed fans’ initial underwhelming reaction to the appearance of Apocalypse.

When first images were unveiled from Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, many fans cried foul at the appearance of the towering villain, who is usually gigantic in size and not quite so akin to purple nemesis, Ivan Ooze, in the first Power Rangers movie.

Turns out, actor Oscar Isaac who plays Apocalypse in the latest X-Men film, wasn’t so pleased with initial photos either.

Back in 1996 when the Internet was just a toddler and anyone who wanted to access the World Wide Web had to wait patiently for their dial-up to kick in, the website for the film Space Jam was created.

Twenty years later, that website – basic, retro and sparkly – hasn’t been touched and remains a digital relic of a time gone past.

With vague menu titles like Jam Central, Planet B-Ball and Jump Station, fans can navigate the weird and wonderul world of the classic animation.

A die-hard Star Wars fan shelled out on a shoot with the movie’s cast, but was surprised at how differently they all acted when asked to strike a pose.

James Calabrese, a comedian, spent his tax return on the photographs with six actors who were in the original movies at a special event in the States.

He explained on his Imgur: ‘Wisely invested my tax return last year in a diverse portfolio of photographs with Star Wars actors at the 2015 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. I tried to reenact a special Star Wars moment relevant to each character’.

Saturday Night Live delivered a spoof of Dead Poets Society’s notorious ‘O Captain! My Captain’ scene, and it’s a killer.

The original scene, which starred Robin Williams as English teacher John Keating, is a classic film moment for anyone craving a Hollywood lump in the throat, but SNL have proposed an hilarious alternative for their spectacular season finale.

It initially echoes the original 1989 movie, as Mr. Bunting’s students stand up on their desks one-by-one and say the phrase, ‘I sing my song for all to hear’, as he departs the classroom.

Then, as Pete Davidson’s character steps up to deliver his touching tribute, something goes a little wrong. A little bloody wrong.

We won’t spoil the moment, but let’s just say it escalates. Fast.

It’s been a whole nine years since the last instalment in the Friday The 13th franchise, which didn’t get the most glowing of reviews.

The 36-year-old horror saga, following murderous Jason Voorhees’ blood-splatting rampage, began with John Carpenter’s 1980 hit and has since spawned an incredible eleven sequels.

Now we’re gearing up for the 13th as production begins on the new film – after Warner Bros relinquished the rights to Platinum Dunes – in time for its release in January 2017.

Details on plot remain shrouded in mystery as the first draft of the script’s only just been written, but one thing’s for sure – it… Read the full story

Oh the irony.

Leonardo DiCaprio has been criticised after he used a private jet to collect an environmental award last week.

It’s believed that that the Oscar-winning actor jetted to New York to collect an award at the Riverkeeper Fishermen’s Ball, before hopping back on the plane the following day to attend a Gala in Paris.

A rep for DiCaprio told US Weekly: ‘He was asked to speak at both Riverkeeper and amfAR events, but the only way to attend the two fundraisers was to hitch a ride with flights that were already planned.

The page organiser is encouraging Sothcott’s alleged victims to come forward, according to the Daily Mail – and comments on the page allege he is being investigated by HMRC.

However, Sothcott’s representative told Metro.co.uk: ‘There is no fraud or tax investigation. It is a… Read the full story
