Talk around the upcoming sequel to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner is expectedly sheepish, but star Ryan Gosling has spoken out about his involvement.

In an interview on Sirius XM Entertainment Weekly Radio, when asked about his role in the sequel, the Drive and Notebook star initially looks a bit worried, scanning the room.

‘I’m looking around as you say that, because I think there’s a sniper up there in the corner if I say too much,’ he joked.

Dionne Warwick has insisted that Lady Gaga will be playing her ‘nemesis’ Cilla Black in a movie biopic focused on their alleged long-time feud.

Gaga’s reps had denied her involvement after Dionne announced the news at Cannes Film Festival, leading to the veteran singer to say that it was all a mix-up.

Actually, it’s just a little glitch. It will be corrected very soon, and everybody who retracted will have to retract again,’ she told Variety.

Park Chan-wook’s The Handmaiden might be the kinkiest film at the 69th Cannes Film Festival and people are raving about it.

The film is based on Welsh writer, Sarah Water’s novel, Fingersmith, but set in 1930s Korea, in the period of Japanese occupation where a pickpocket (Sookee) is hired to be a handmaiden to a Japanese heiress (Hideko) who lives a secluded life on a large countryside estate with her domineering Uncle (Kouzuki).

The director of 2014’s Godzilla reboot has departed the upcoming sequel to pursue other projects.

According to Deadline, the split was an amicable decision between Gareth Edwards, company Legendary and Warner Bros, who brought the last interpretation of Godzilla to the big screen.

The director has said he wants to concentrate on smaller projects following his current work as director on Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One, starring Felicity Jones.

With X-Men: Apocalypse coming out later this week, just the FOURTH superhero film so far this year, producer Simon Kinberg has been talking up the chances of seeing the return of the Fantastic Four franchise.

French actress Madeleine Lebeau died at the age of 92, according to her family, on May 1 in Spain

Her stepson, filmmaker Carlo Alberto Pinelli, confirmed the news to the Hollywood Reporter and said her death was caused by her breaking her thigh bone.

Shia LaBeouf is set to play legendary tennis star John McEnroe in a new film about his infamous rivalry with Sweden’s Bjorn Borg.

The actor-come-elevator-occupier will star in the film, titled Borg/McEnroe, opposite Wallander’s Sverrir Gudnason who will play Borg, and Stellan Skarsgard as the Swede’s coach Lennart Bergelin.
